On April 16th, Meilian Experimental School specially invited the school sports consultant, Jose Bonal, a professor of physical education at the European University of Madrid, to come to the school as a teacher. We conduct training and discussion on physical education courses in order to further enhance the professional development and teaching level of teachers, and to create more meaningful physical education courses.
Jose talked about the theme of “How to get a good PE class” in the school. Through picture comparison and situation creation, he vividly described the core literacy and key abilities of good PE teachers. “Good PE class should promote each student active and enthusiastic, but not make the students just be neatly lined up." In addition, Jose and the teachers also discussed issues such as school sports programs and teaching models.
This training not only enhances the theoretical literacy of PE teachers, but also has a new vision and preparation for the organization and implementation of the future PE curriculum. In the future, on the basis of ensuring the safety of students and the development of physical and mental health, the original curriculum content will be innovated, so as to continuously improve the teaching quality and classroom activity.
