摘要:At 2 p.m. on November 23, 2018, Meilian Experimental School, No.1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University held the parents' meeting of the academic year 2018 to 2019.

At 2 p.m. on November 23, 2018, Meilian Experimental School, No.1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University held the parents' meeting of the academic year 2018 to 2019. With theme of “Educating Children Well Is Our Common Goal", the meeting summarized the education and teaching work in the first half of the semester and further strengthened the communication and cooperation between home and school, helping parents better understand the characteristics of first-grade students and their recent performance and analyzed existing problems. It also explained the main work in the second half of the semester.

The meeting consists of three parts. In the first part, the head teacher of each class made a summary, which let parents know the main status and behavior of students in school. In the second part, instructors made reports on courses. The Chinese teachers and the math teachers analyzed the mid-term test data and stated the subsequent teaching measures based on the students' learning situation in the earlier stage. The third part was open consultation and communication where parents can have one-to-one consultation and communication with teachers of Morality and Rule of Law, Science, Sports, Music, Art and so on.

The parents’ meeting went in order and came to an end when the last parent waved goodbye, smiling. This meeting enables parents and teachers to communicate directly face to face, especially in the one-to-one consultation, the communication and integration between home and school were further revealed. The meeting may end, yet communication is not over. We hope that the communication between parents and the school can help students grow and develop healthily in the following semester.
