At 10:20 a.m. on December 14, 2018, Meilian Experimental School, No.1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University organized all the teachers and students of the first grade to carry out the juveniles' environmental protection education with the theme of "garbage classification is easy", which is the "first lesson of environmental protection". The purpose is to enhance the environmental protection awareness of juveniles, helping students form the habit of garbage classification from childhood.

The activity was divided into two parts i.e. environmental protection lecture and making of environmental protection posters. In the lecture, the science teacher stated the significance, content and method of garbage classification. The students interacted with the teacher actively and learned a lot relevant knowledge. Then under the guidance of the art teacher, all the students made posters for garbage sorting in the form of group cooperation. Enthusiastically students cooperated with each other, and produced a series of childlike and imaginative works. The exhibition of students' posters rounded the activity perfectly.

The activity attracted students' attention to garbage classification and guided them to classify garbage correctly through publicizing the significance of garbage classification. The school is also looking forward to playing a leading, demonstration, radiation and driving role in environmental protection education by organizing relevant activities and education.
