April 15th, 2019 is the fourth National security education day. To enhance students’ national security awareness, Meilian Experimental School carried out national security educational activities themed on “strengthening national security education and enhancing national security awareness” in the class meeting for first graders.

Through watching videos, the students are leaded to learn the concept, scope and significance of national security. After that, the children had a heated discussion and delivered active speeches. They all claimed that it’s needed to start from doing little things now, resist the behaviors that endanger national security consciously, and then strive to be a little guardian protecting national security. Furthermore, this activity guided the students to establish a sense of responsibility for national security and to enhance their sense of responsibility and mission towards national security.

Under the leadership of the Wuhan Education Bureau, our future work will pay special attention to legal advocacy and law education like the National Security Law to strengthen students’ awareness of law-abiding, and will attach great importance to patriotic education in the hope of improving their sense of responsibility and self-protection ability so as to safeguard national security jointly.
